Stephen Barbee has over 20-years of experience serving the homeless, the reentry community as a caseworker, outreach worker, mentor, life coach, and group facilitator.
Stephen Barbee currently serves as Field Director for Kansas and Missouri at Prison Fellowship Ministry. Previously he served at Connections to Success in Kansas City Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas as Community Outreach Coordinator. At Metro Lutheran Ministry in Kansas City, Missouri as Program Coordinator. Co-Founder/Co-Director of KC Outreach Inc. A service provider for the re-entry community. Also a Mentor at Leavenworth United States Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas. He serves as a Lead Shelter Manager at City Union Mission, Kansas City, Missouri. Chaplain at Lawndale Christian Health Center Chicago, Illinois which served over 60,000 patients a year. Men's Division Director at Pacific Garden Mission, Chicago, Illinois which is one of the oldest and largest missions in the country, serving over 700 men daily.
Stephen Barbee has been a featured speaker for the United States Department of Justice, Leavenworth United States Penitentiary, United States Probation and Pretrial Services, Ellsworth, Kansas Correctional Facility, Crossroads Correctional Center, Western Missouri Correctional Center, Western Reception Diagnostic Correctional Center, and Missouri Restorative Justice Conference.
Stephen Barbee has preached and taught the Word of God in Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Stephen Barbee attended Moody's Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois with Biblical Studies. Also, Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.

While in FCI Forrest City Federal Prison from October 2010 to January 2012 I was wrestling with how my incarceration was going to work out for God's Good? The following scripture came to mind:
Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
For the next 48-hours, I wrestled with this scripture! I believe God still speaks and I heard "You don't know your purpose"?
Your daily mission in which you love to do is your mission and your mission reveals your purpose and your purpose births you into your Destiny! On this day I developed my own personal mission statement. Since that day all I do is live out my personal mission statement!

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
